About The Position

As a Graduate Engineer at WSB, you will play a supporting role in various engineering tasks. Your responsibilities will include performing specific design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation. You may compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos, and specifications on Water Resources projects. There may be opportunities to perform tasks or observe projects in the field, and you may be involved in public meetings and have other presentation opportunities. You will work under the direct supervision of a professional engineer and may oversee the work of Engineering Technicians. As you advance in your career, you may also plan, direct, and coordinate all project activities to ensure that projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budgets. You will lead multiple work teams, manage multiple complex projects, identify new projects, formulate project approaches, lead the proposal process, and market to and secure work from new and existing clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar from an accredited school.
• 0-3 years of experience in Water Resources or related field.
• Texas EIT certification preferred and eligibility for TX PE license within 4-5 years.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a variety of locations.

Responsibilities
