About The Position

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their transportation teams in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This role involves providing innovative design solutions for transportation projects, combining both design and construction fieldwork. Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent is required.
• EIT certification or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Prior engineering internship experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads preferred.
• Experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant military experience is considered for transitioning service members.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and analyze engineering systems.
• Perform plan preparation including typical sections, scope of work, details, grading plans, erosion control plans, traffic control plans, and pavement marking under supervision.
• Develop plans and specifications that comply with state and municipality requirements.
• Demonstrate creativity and design ownership in engineering projects.
• Perform construction observation duties on assigned projects.
• Maintain records, construction quantities, checklists, daily reports, and documentation for construction administration projects in accordance with municipality requirements.
• Coordinate on-site materials testing.
• Perform work in both office and field settings.
