Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree.
  • Basic understanding of Terraform or a similar IaC tools.
  • Foundational knowledge of Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services, etc.).
  • Exposure to continuous integration and deployment processes.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Git-based version control (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
  • Passion for developing new skills and growing in a fast-paced DevOps environment.
  • Ability to approach technical challenges with curiosity and determination.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Open to feedback and capable of adapting to evolving technologies and priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to or willingness to learn Terragrunt for managing Terraform configurations.
  • Awareness of observability tools like New Relic or similar platforms.
  • Interest in learning about security practices in DevOps.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining infrastructure automation using Terraform and Terragrunt under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Collaborate with the team to build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment processes.
  • Support the team in deploying and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, focusing on learning best practices for automation, cost optimization, and reliability.
  • Participate in managing Kubernetes clusters, ensuring workloads are deployed securely and efficiently.
  • Work closely with development and operations teams to support seamless integrations of DevOps practices.
  • Learn to implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Stay curious about new DevOps tools and practices, contributing ideas to improve team workflows and processes.
  • Understand and help implement basic security practices within the DevOps workflow.

  • $100,000 - $150,000 USD base salary range.
