As a new hire, you will be part of our exclusive Cyber Academy, a program dedicated to developing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals through a structured 24‑month rotational experience.

Requirements

  • A recent graduate within the last 12 months with a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work onsite 2–3 days per week at the assigned McKesson location.
  • Participation in a 24‑month rotational program, gaining exposure to multiple cybersecurity domains across the organization.
  • Engagement in structured learning, mentorship, and real‑world cybersecurity operations as part of the Cyber Academy.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to incident response efforts, including investigation and documentation.
  • Utilize industry-standard security tools and software for threat detection and prevention.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to enhance security measures and implement secure coding practices.
  • Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives and training within the organization.
  • Integrate security best practices into all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and manage security automation tools within the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Assist in managing user access and permissions, ensuring compliance with IAM policies and procedures.
