About The Position

The Center for Student Belonging (CSB) is one of the key units within the Student Engagement portfolio of the Division of Student Affairs. CSB fosters an inclusive, identity-conscious, and belonging driven campus environment where students can explore their identities, build connections, and develop leadership skills. Graduate Assistants are central to the Center’s mission, helping to plan and implement programs, support students, and contribute to a campus culture that promotes belonging and community engagement. The Assessment, Evaluation, & Research Graduate Assistant (GA) advances the Center for Student Belonging’s commitment to data-informed practice by supporting the development, implementation, and analysis of assessment initiatives that enhance student belonging, engagement, and success. Reporting to the Associate Director(s), the GA contributes to ongoing research efforts that help the Center understand student experiences, measure program impact, and inform strategic decision-making. In this part-time role, the GA will design assessment tools, collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, and translate findings into accessible reports and recommendations. The GA will collaborate closely with CSB staff, campus partners, and student leaders to ensure assessment practices reflect best principles in equity, inclusion, and student-centered research.
