About The Position

The internship will provide the opportunity to work with Glenstone’s superlative collection of post-World War II artworks. Projects will be tailored to the specialty and interests of the successful candidate. The intern will contribute to the Museum’s preventive conservation activities, outdoor sculpture cleaning, and exhibition installation. Glenstone’s conservation program is collaborative in nature. As such, there are often occasions to work with other conservators, museum professionals, galleries, artists, and their studios or foundations.

Requirements

  • Candidates should be currently enrolled in a recognized conservation training program or have equivalent training.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following areas: objects/sculpture modern and contemporary art preventive conservation
