GHD is looking for a Graduate Engineer- Linear Infrastructure, in our Eureka, CA office. This is a project-focused role where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your technical expertise, local relationships, and knowledge on challenging projects. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Improvement/Innovation: Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them. Product and Solution Development: Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products. Engineering Standards Specification: Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards. Knowledge Management System: Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice. Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. Engineering Solutions Design: Contribute to the development of, and implement feasibility testing of, proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or similar); Masters Degree preferred
• 0-2 year's experience

Nice To Haves

• Possession of an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) Certificate preferred
