About The Position

The Graduate Assistant contributes to the work of the unit within the Office of
Decision Support by utilizing variety of tools (SAS, SQL, Python, SPSS,
Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, R) and other BI/ predictive analytics tools to
respond to the analytical needs around student success metrics. The Graduate
Assistant (GA) will be exposed to the BI/analytical tools and will be supervised
by Associate Director within the unit with opportunities to enhance their
research and analytical skills in line with industry practices using predictive
analysis and forecasting. The GA will be engaged in training around project
management , (Agile - Scrum/Kanban), and the data accessed by the unit,
structured and unstructured learning exercises/projects based on data reporting,
model building, and institutional research.
