The Graduate Assistant for Wellness will assist the Assistant Director of Wellness with the day-to-day responsibilities of the wellness coaching program for UARK Wellness. Responsibilities include supervision of Peer Wellness Coaches, including bi-weekly one-on-one supervision meetings; assisting with development and facilitation of Peer Wellness Coach training; and the management of wellness coaching requests, documentation, and data tracking. Additionally, the Wellness Graduate Assistant will lead the planning and promotion of monthly Wellness Lunch & Learns for UARK faculty, staff, and graduate students by recruiting speakers to present on relevant wellness topics, promoting Lunch & Learns to appropriate audiences, and managing administrative tasks related to the Wellness Lunch & Learns. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. This position will develop UA Career-Ready skills such as Communication, Professionalism, Leadership and Critical Thinking.
