Located near Los Angeles, California, Pomona College is widely regarded as one of the nation’s premier liberal arts colleges. Pomona is a member of The Claremont Colleges. As an administrative and program support for professional and undergraduate staff, this position is an integral part of the Queer Resource Center (QRC). The Graduate Assistants’ (GA) primary responsibility is to assist the Director, Assistant Director, and undergraduate student staff (e.g., Student Associates) with the organization and execution of events, programs, and special projects in and out of the QRC focused on LGBTQIA+ (i.e., lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual or agender) individuals and communities. In particular, the GA will assist in planning, executing, and scheduling programming efforts across The Claremont Colleges (TCC). The GA will also be required to complete tasks that will focus on their academic, personal, and professional development.
