About The Position

This position contributes to psychological knowledge generation by assisting with an interview study on people’s experience with connection and disconnection. The Graduate Research Assistant is responsible for conducting literature searches, transcribing interviews, maintaining files, assisting with data analysis, and preparing manuscripts for publication. The Research Assistant will demonstrate coherent communication, apt accountability, flexibility/adaptability, and judgment/problem solving while fulfilling job duties using established Consciousness Lab protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews and/or questionnaire data collection in a study of connective experience.
  • Transcribe interview data and assist in data analysis in a study of connective experience.
  • Help to support undergraduate student members of a research team.
  • Assist in the preparation of a grant proposal and/or manuscript for publication.
