The Graduate Assistant (GA) position in the Department of Fisheries Biology provides non-teaching assistance to faculty members while allowing GAs to gain practical experience in their field of study. Responsibilities may include supervising students in various settings, training students in equipment use, assisting faculty with research and course material preparation, evaluating student work, tutoring, and other related tasks. Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program at Humboldt and cannot hold concurrent faculty or staff positions. The maximum work hours for GAs across all positions is 20 hours per week during the academic year.
