About The Position

This position requires a graduate assistant to support the design, analysis, development, testing, and UX research and design of Gannon’s IRB software. The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge, experience, and skills in full-stack application development, UX research and design, requirements analysis, software testing, Artificial Intelligence, and systems modeling. The candidate must be able to deploy and manage software in the Cloud, particularly AWS . You must be able to work with little or no supervision, pay attention to details, and be organized. Weekend work may be required. The ideal candidate must have experience working with mission-critical and enterprise-wide software in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience and knowledge of IRB is required. During the interview, you will be asked to demonstrate software development and programming skills. Also, you must be willing to carry out independent research and find solutions by yourself. The tuition remission will be $3600 for the Spring 2025 semester. Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge and skill in: Programming Languages: C#, JavaScript, HTML , CSS , Python, Node JS, React Native, Bootstrap.
  • Frameworks: ASP .net, Micro service architecture, docker, MVC Architecture, Visual Studio, AI integration
  • Database: Microsoft SQL Server
  • Deployment: AWS , and Microsoft IIS
  • User Experience : UXR methodologies, usability testing, cognitive walk-through, Figma, Miro, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrate understanding of IRB processes
  • Previous work experience in IRB Software Development
