About The Position

The Graduate Assistant assists the hiring department with assigned projects. Performs other duties as needed. The Graduate Assistant assists the hiring department with assigned projects. Performs other duties as needed. The office of the EAD at the SPH in conjunction with the Ventanilla de Salud (VdS) program is seeking a bilingual student worker to support community health outreach and education efforts. The student will assist with health promotion activities including coordinating referrals to health hand social service providers, provide basic information to visitors, and help connect individuals with available resources. This role requires strong communication skills in both English and Spanish and a commitment to serving diverse populations.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required.
Must be a current student at Loma Linda University.
Able to read; write and speak with professional quality
use computer and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position.
Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
