About The Position

The Graduate Assistant - Football Video supports the Football Video Staff in the production and management of practice and game footage. This role is responsible for filming, editing, and organizing video content used for coaching analysis and team development. The position also assists with day-to-day operations within the video office. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Football Video Staff. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • Earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Current enrollment in, or acceptance to, a University of Arkansas graduate program
  • Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and ability to quickly adapt to new concepts and technologies
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
  • Ability to carry and operate video equipment for extended periods
  • Comfort working in various environments, including elevated positions (e.g., press box, filming towers)
  • Ability to remain focused and effective during long practices and game-day operations

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of football terminology, formations, and game structure
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during the football season
  • Experience managing large volumes of digital video files and maintaining organized file systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
