About The Position

The ENV teaching Graduate Assistant will support classes and facilitate educational projects in collaboration with ENV faculty. The department would prefer a candidate who can fill those roles for both fall and spring semesters.

Nice To Haves

• Priority given to Ecopsychology MA students.
• Graduate student from any department is acceptable if student has BA in Environmental Studies or a related field.
• First-year graduate student from any other department is acceptable.
• A background in Environmental Studies and related areas is preferred.
• Some teaching experience preferred.
• Research experience and social media knowledge desirable

Responsibilities

• Assist with large and/or logistically complex undergrad classes in the ENV BA program: Actual courses assigned may depend on number of students enrolled
• GA for ENV 363: Indigenous Env. Issues (spring)
• GA for ENV 350: Nature, the Sacred, and Contemplation (fall)
• GA for ENV 223 Field Ecology (fall) or new course not yet finalized
• Assist with coordinating events for ENV students, create fliers, work on web site, help with research
