Explore more about the college here . Role Summary The Graduate Assistant will provide day-to-day support to the Baseball Program. This role is designed to provide the student with professional experience in a higher education setting while supporting the operational goals of the department. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can balance their academic workload with recruiting, assisting in day-to-day operations, including practice planning and field prep. Hours per week: 20/25 hours a week Stipend/Benefits: Tuition waived up to 24 credits & a $1000 stipend for the academic year Qualifications Housing, Work Hours & Duties Athletics GA positions may include the option for on-campus housing as part of the tuition compensation package. GAs who chooses to live on campus are required to work up to 25 hours per week , reflecting additional responsibilities related to both Athletics and Residence Life. GAs who does not choose the housing option are required to work up to 20 hours per week , focusing primarily on Athletics-related responsibilities

Requirements

  • Enrollment: Must be currently accepted in a Master's program at Albertus Magnus College in one of the following areas: 1. Accounting (only two spots available) 2. Business Administration 3. Criminal Justice 4. Management and Organizational Leadership 5. Healthcare Administration (only two spots available)
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong work ethic; willingness to help recruit prospective student athletes

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Baseball Coach in recruiting, field prep, creating practice plans, throwing batting practice, hitting fungos, washing uniforms, game day operations, and driving vans when needed to away games.
