About the position

The position is for a student enrolled in a master's or doctoral level program of study in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Texas Medical Branch. The role establishes eligibility for support through an educational stipend.

Responsibilities

• Attends classes as required in the degree program enrolled.
• Performs laboratory work required in classes or research pertaining to the degree, under the direction of responsible faculty on institutional grant or contract.
• Student teaching or tutoring as related to professional training.
• Library research as needed for courses and independent investigation.
• Adheres to all student policies and regulations of the GSBS.
• Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
• Performs related duties as required to fulfill personal academic requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree and enrolled in a degree-granting program in the GSBS.
