About The Position

Responsibilities & Key DeliverablesEfficiently Manage 3 Verticals of CMD with effective DWM. efficient use of the Utilities. Uninterrupted utilities supply of desired Quantity and Quality in the areas of Electrical Power/ Gas/ Water/ Compressed air. In lieu of the above, take proactive steps to understand the production requirement of the plan and Match the infrastructure. adequacy and plan the same accordingly considering the available best technology in market with focus on cost. Guide the PPS team for Load Balancing in various substations to reduce the stress and breakdowns. Comply with all statutory provisions like Electrical Inspectorate Inspection/ DG sets returns filing/ Regular Stack readings. Water Sle testing/ License renewal/ Gas line testing/Pressure vessels testing etc. Liaise with Government and Semi-Govt Authorities regarding communication/ Approvals/. Changes in Quota/ Other agreements etc. Ensure adequacy of training and desired quantity of manpower is deployed in these sensitive and emergency area. Ensure safe performance from Contractors engaged for Fabrication/Electrical work. Liaise with other plants for information exchange/ Knowledge sharing etc. Other Central Areas- common to Plant. Maintain forklifts used for Material Hand ling inside the plants @ Optimum Cost, Ensure Statutory compliance like PUC etc. Maintain HVAC systems in the Plant. Maintain Water coolers in the Plant and Get the water Sles tested for the same periodically. Maintenance of the all equipment in support function areas like TR, Canteen, Metrology, Areas like IDAM. Give technical support to Admin Department in Managing the company Vehicle Maintenance. Central expense stores- manage Inventory in available space, Perpetual Inventory, Communication of Shortages, Analyse Non. Moving Items time to time. Ensure statutory test of the tanks under CES preview. Coordinate the AMC of common nature like Air Circulators/ Ventilators/ Split ACs/ Weighing equipment/ Lifting Tackles etc. Civil infrastructure maintenance through structural repairs/ Painting etc. Road Maintenance for the infrastructure has to be done. Contractors' management working on Roof with proper infrastructure and training. Liaising with Various Govt Agencies for Approval/ Factory permit renewals etc. Budgeting and allocating resources. Resource optimisation
