About The Position

Williams Civil Construction in Missoula Montana is looking for an experienced and motivated Grading/Pipe Foreman to lead and manage field crews on a variety of civil construction projects. This role requires hands-on leadership, a strong understanding of underground utilities or grading operations, and the ability to deliver quality work while maintaining safety, productivity, and team morale. Requirements

Experience in heavy civil construction with strong equipment operation skills (excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes)
Experience as a foreman or crew lead on utility or grading projects, with a solid track record of managing production and crew performance
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, set grade using lasers/levels, and estimate material, tool, and equipment needs
Strong leadership, communication, and safety-focused supervision skills in fast-paced field environments
CDL preferred (or willing to obtain) and capable of performing light repairs and field adjustments to equipment as needed

Responsibilities

Manage and direct daily work of field crews
Coordinate schedules, equipment, and materials
Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on site
Communicate with project managers and inspectors
