A Grading Operator for Gaines and Company will be responsible for providing essential manpower and have experience with a variety of heavy equipment. The successful candidate will have field experience with setting up and taking down, maintaining a clean job site, operating hand and power tools. In addition, the position will operate excavators, dozers, and roller end dumps on uneven, off-road territory with the flexibility to operate different equipment depending on the project needs. The operator will be required to work together in a crew, perform laborer duties and complete tasks under minimal supervision. Our heavy equipment operators work with our crews to complete projects safely and on time, operating heavy equipment safely and proficiently in a variety of work environments in compliance with safety policies and procedures. Additional tasks will include conducting equipment inspections and completing maintenance reports.
