About The Position
VT Construction, Inc. is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. As a family-owned heavy civil and dirt-moving construction company, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and safety in all our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy equipment, particularly dozers and graders, and will be responsible for performing various tasks related to dirt work and grading. This full-time position offers competitive hourly rates, with pay ranging from $20 to $38 per hour, and includes weekly payroll. We are looking for operators who can handle rough and finish grading with equipment such as D6, D8, D9, D10, D11 dozers, and 14M or 16H blades. In this role, you will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, often under extreme conditions, including excessive heat, wind, and continuous noise. You will be required to adhere to safety protocols, including holding an OSHA 10 certification. The position demands reliability, as you will need to have dependable transportation and be willing to relocate at your own expense if necessary. You will also be required to pass a drug test and background screening, as we maintain a drug-free workplace.
