WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A PAPER MONEY GRADER: Authenticate and evaluate collectible paper money using PMG’s established grading standards. Assign accurate numerical grades based on condition using the Sheldon Grading Scale. Identify signs of alterations, restoration work, and counterfeit notes with precision. Record grading notes and item details accurately in internal systems. Meet production and accuracy goals in a performance-driven environment. Collaborate with peers and senior graders to ensure consistency and quality control. WHAT MAKES YOU THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Previous experience in paper money, or as a knowledgeable dealer/collector with a strong understanding of grading concepts. Proven ability to work with precision and consistency in a production-based environment. Strong observational and critical thinking skills for detecting subtle defects or authenticity issues. Comfortable using computers and digital tracking systems. Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of integrity. High School diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to work on-site in Sarasota, FL, Monday through Friday.
