The purpose of the grader is to examine product and remove defects. This position involves ensuring that the meat products meet customer requirements and quality standards.

Requirements

• No specific education required.
• Previous food processing experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove or trim defective cuts of meat.
• Remove cuts of meat that don’t meet customer requirements.
• Check for excessive fat and skin.
• Place defective meat in rework bin.
• Check for foreign material.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
