About The Position

If you love kids, enjoy moving, and being active in your job while having a ton of fun, you may be the person we are looking for! We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic instructor to lead our Grade School Gymnastics classes (ages 6–12) on weekday afternoons and evenings. The position is located at The Little Gym of Kansas City - Prairie Village (6931 Tomahawk Rd, Prairie Village KS 66208) with a schedule on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 to 7:30 pm.

Requirements

• A background in gymnastics, child development, or physical education is a huge plus.
• Ability to manage a group of energetic kids and keep them engaged.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with kids and their parents.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in teaching or coaching children.
• A positive attitude and a natural ability to motivate kids.

Responsibilities

• Introduce kids to the serious fun of gymnastics and play, all within The Little Gym’s unique learning environment.
• Teach amazing classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (training will be provided).
• Safely spot and support grade school gymnasts while they learn new skills and build confidence.
• Provide outstanding customer service and a top-notch membership experience.
• Create a fun, challenging, and encouraging atmosphere that allows every child to grow at their own pace.
