About The Position
At The Little Gym, we specialize in helping children grow physically, socially, and emotionally through structured gymnastics-based programs. Our classes are designed to build confidence, coordination, and a love for movement in a fun, positive environment. We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic Grade School Gymnastics Instructor to join our team! This role focuses on teaching children ages 6–12 in a supportive and high-energy setting. The ideal candidate loves working with kids, brings positive energy to every class, and can confidently lead structured activities while making learning fun.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (teaching, coaching, childcare, etc.)
- High energy, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
- Ability to manage a group of children while keeping them engaged and safe
- Reliable and punctual
Nice To Haves
- Background in gymnastics, dance, cheer, or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging gymnastics classes for grade school-aged children
- Teach fundamental gymnastics skills in a safe and encouraging environment
- Follow lesson plans while adding your own creativity and energy
- Build strong relationships with students and families
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe gym environment
- Assist with events such as birthday parties, camps, and special programs
