About The Position
Whaley Construction LLC is in search of an Experienced Grading Foreman to join our team, preferably with TDOT experience. If you are interested, PLEASE APPLY IN PERSON AT 3909 SNYDER RD IN KODAK. The right candidate will supervise field operations for Earthwork/Roadway/Grading projects and will directly supervise and coordinate activities of grading crew and may also engage in the trade work of the employees being supervised. Pay is based on experience and benefits after 90 days.
Requirements
- Experienced on all types of heavy equipment for dirt and site projects.
- Knowledgeable in the areas of TDOT roadway projects and dirt work, including excavation, grade work, utilities, surveying and final excavating work.
- Reads, understands, and interprets drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities
- Directly supervises grading crew.
- Reports on work to Superintendent.
- Reports daily on digital project management software about time and material.
- Monitors the implementation of safety orientations, provides coaching for improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
