About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Long-Term Substitute Teacher to lead a 2nd grade classroom from beginning of March through April . The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging classroom culture , maintain high expectations for students, and create a welcoming environment where all learners can thrive.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (or related field)
• Experience teaching at the elementary level
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Commitment to collaboration and student success

• teaching license preferred

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering daily lessons aligned with grade-level curriculum
• Assessing student work and providing timely feedback
• Maintaining classroom routines and a strong, supportive learning environment
• Collaborating with grade-level teammates, instructional coaches, and support staff
• Communicating effectively with families and colleagues
