The Amgen Clinical Program Operations - Early Development team in R D Global Development supports the design, planning, and management of the operational strategy activities related to the execution of phase 0-1b/2 clinical trials in varying therapeutic areas including oncology, cardiovascular, inflammation, neuroscience and healthy volunteer. The intern will be assigned to work with clinical research study management teams and may engage in the following activities: Gain a general knowledge of GCP, ICH, and Amgen process in the conduct of translational medicine early-stage program development clinical trials Contribute to team and study deliverables such as pharmacy manuals, informed consent forms, site training materials, and review of clinical trial data trends that support planning, implementation, and reporting of results Participate in a longitudinal project that assesses or helps address a need for the department Conduct at least 1 lecture for clinical research staff in Early Development on topics that impact our clinical trials Gain experience working in clinical trial management teams to better assess the direction of their career path.
