About The Position

The Graduate Assistant (Patient-centered Medicine Program Coordinator) provides administrative support to the Director and Assistant Directors of Medical Student Education in Family and Community Medicine. This position will manage selected activities related to the administration of medical student education in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. Functioning under the Director of Administrative Operations and supervised by the Associate Head for Faculty Development and Research/Director, Patient-centered Medicine (PCM) Scholars Program, the Graduate Assistant provides high-level administrative and managerial support to the administrative office of the Department of Family Medicine, using initiative, independent judgment, and discretion, and prioritizes in a high-volume environment while meeting strict deadlines. The duties performed require extensive knowledge of the organization, programs, policies, and procedures of the institution.
