About The Position

JOB OVERVIEW Serve cafe beverages, pastries, and smoothies to members and guests of Boar's Head Resort. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Take guest orders using IG system and guest name. Manage order process at the cafe counter. Complete basic surface level cleaning as well as other deep cleaning projects within the Kitchen, dining area and storage areas. Occasionally put together large orders at the request of the Sports Club Facilities, Event Orders/Cash bars, and Banquets. Complete opening/closing procedures such as picking up/dropping off money from the Front Desk at the Inn, counting drawer, opening/closing counts, wiping down tables, countertops, etc. Keep dining area stocked with condiments and snacks. Remove trash on a daily basis. Sweep/mop within the service area and dining room. Learn all recipes and gather knowledge on classic cafe beverage-making skills. Maintain and complete an inventory stock list at all times. Handle money properly at both The Sports Club Cafe and Front Desk. Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned. WORK ENVIRONMENT The Boar's Head Sports Club Cafe.

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently to provide prompt, effective service.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Food & Beverage customer service experience.
  • Flexible availability and eager to provide coverage, when needed.
  • Ability to operate a POS system to enter orders and prepare checks.
  • 21+; ability to serve guests alcoholic beverages
