Come and join the team that delivers the GPUs in the Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch! At Apple, we focus on innovative design and disciplined execution to build the most efficient GPUs that scale across our full range of products and deliver industry-leading power and performance. We work together across hardware, software, and systems teams to build truly optimized products and amazing user experiences. To accomplish this, we need technical excellence combined with the expertise to work across the organization and to put each decision in the right context. We are looking for a dedicated Engineering Program Manager or a technical leader who is passionate about getting into program management and inspiring the team to collaborate and deliver innovative designs within schedule constraints. The ideal candidate needs to be able to dig into sophisticated technical topics while balancing the strategic needs of the project and the tradeoffs involved in technology development. The GPU Engineering Project Manager will be working closely with the GPU architecture, logic design, verification, power and performance, physical design, DFT and debug teams, as well as SoC, software, system and others to drive the full program lifecycle from spec definition through execution, tapeout, and support of post-silicon activities and debug. In this role, you will be embedded directly with the GPU design team and will drive the day-to-day project activities, as well as the longer-term initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the technical leads and be the main point of contact with other teams. You will be an integral part of the team and project success.

  • Collaborate closely with GPU architecture, logic design, verification, power and performance, physical design, DFT and debug teams.
  • Lead day-to-day project activities and longer-term initiatives.
  • Be the main point of contact with other teams and technical leads.
  • Navigate tough situations, balancing priorities and managing constraints.
  • Continuously improve processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Solid understanding of chip design flow.
  • Technical depth in one or more areas (architecture, logic design, verification, power/performance, physical design).
  • Ability to foresee project level issues and challenges.
  • Experience working across multiple sites and multi-functionally.
  • Proven experience navigating tough situations and managing constraints.
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong time and task leadership skills with consistent attention to detail.
  • Relevant GPU experience.
