You will be a founding member of a core team of incredibly talented industry specialists and will define the future of hardware and software AI compute solutions. Ideal candidates should possess a "Just-Do-It" mindset and strong motivation. They must be driven to understand the status quo and explore better solutions using first principles of thinking. Experience is highly preferred in end-to-end development of startup/GPU AI hardware, including programming models, GPU microarchitectures, tapeout, and bring-up.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep AI infrastructure experience with open-source frameworks (e.g., SGLang, vLLM).
  • Strong kernel optimization skills using DSLs and HIP (or CUDA), plus PTX/SASS equivalents.
  • Hands-on knowledge of modern GPU architecture.
  • Demonstrated open-source contributions on GitHub.
  • Motivational leadership and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with AMD architecture engineers on GPU software and hardware design decisions.
  • Co-optimize AI workloads on current and next generation GPUs.
  • Contribute to client projects and open-source AI frameworks, driving features and adoption.
  • Design and develop new technologies for future compute platforms.
  • Participate in new hardware bring-up and validation.
  • Build strong technical relationships with peers and partners.
