Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in GPS system testing and validation
  • Knowledge of GPS standards, including IS-GPS-153 Rev D and E
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-6017A and Variable Message Format (VMF) messaging
  • Ability to use GPS compliance test software
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting military or defense-related projects
  • Experience with other navigation and positioning systems
  • Knowledge of Mounted Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) System (MAPS) Generation (GEN) II (MAPS Gen II) or Mounted Assured Resilient Navigation (MARNAV) Block 1
  • Knowledge of the MAPS Maintenance Application (MMA) software
  • Knowledge of RF signal processing and simulation
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
