Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications Support mission operations integration and readiness for GPS IIIF, including SoS integration, test, and transition to operations. Coordinate plans, risks, and reviews with government and contractor teams. In this position, the ideal candidate will: Perform SoS integration and end-to-end test planning for space/ground/user elements Support mission readiness planning: operational test, acceptance, and transition to Ops Develop integrated plans/schedules and decision briefings; manage risks and actions Participate in cross-functional SE&I activities; coordinate with stakeholders Contribute to launch planning/execution and on-orbit operations as applicable Deliverable(s) This is a chance to directly influence how GPS evolves for the future – working across spacecraft, ground systems, and user equipment to deliver mission-ready capability that the entire world relies on every day.
Requirements
- 10+ years in space systems engineering, integration, and testing
- 10+ years in system-of-systems integration and integrated testing (space/ground/user)
- Experience with operational test, operational acceptance, and transition-to-Ops planning
- Confluence/Jira familiarity; strong communication and teamwork
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Math, Physics, or CS
- Secret clearance required
Nice To Haves
- 15+ years in SV SEI&T; launch and satellite ops experience
- Broad SE/PM exposure across multiple lifecycle phases
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition milestones, SE/test/production policies and practices
- Knowledge of GPS space/ground/user segments
- Strong writing and interpersonal communication; TS clearance; Master’s degree
- PMP/ESEP/CSEP/OCSMP certifications
