About The Position

The Georgia-Pacific IT team is seeking data engineering and software engineering interns to join our team, this upcoming Summer 2025 in Atlanta, GA. This will be a 12-week onsite internship opportunity that runs from late May to mid-August 2025. The GP IT Internship Program will consist of the below roles: Software Engineer Intern and Data Engineer Intern. Requirements

• Enrolled in a college degree program or alternative program (e.g., 4-year university, 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
• Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2027
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

• Strong communication skills
• Eager to learn and adopt new skills
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, EKS, ECS, Lambda)
• Knowledge of Terraform
• Strong knowledge of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)
• Knowledge of Git and CICD build and deployment Pipeline Integration
• Database knowledge & strong knowledge of SQL
• Good knowledge of software development using JavaScript or Typescript
• Python knowledge
• Good knowledge of Full-stack development, .Net Core, C Sharp, JavaScript, CSS, Angular/React
• Business acumen aptitude
