Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in a security context, particularly in compliance, engineering, and operations.
  • Expertise in government security, including FedRAMP High and IL4 authorizations and relevant controls (e.g., NIST 800-53).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build partnerships across different business units and with government customers.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with examples of managing complex security or compliance issues in a government environment.
  • Experience in defining and implementing security strategies that drive transformative outcomes for government customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team with expertise in GRC, Security Engineering, and Operations.
  • Drive the continuous monitoring and authorization processes required for FedRAMP High and IL4 certifications.
  • Build and implement comprehensive security solutions across product, cloud, and infrastructure areas to meet federal requirements.
  • Establish and maintain an effective vulnerability management system, conducting regular checks and swiftly acting upon detected issues.
  • Oversee the daily security operations for the government-specific environment.
  • Define and enforce strict data protection protocols in accordance with federal standards.
  • Collaborate closely with all areas of the business to support federal security initiatives.
