Requirements

Must have BS/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
Government Sales Managers should have a minimum of three years' experience doing sales in the government sector, specifically on the municipal level.
Fleet Maintenance and automotive/fleet technical knowledge strongly preferred.
Must have computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word & Excel) and FMIS/Inventory systems
Problem analysis and resolution capability at both a strategic and operational level.
Discipline: a proven track record as a self-starter with adherence to company policies.
Strong customer orientation.
Government Sales Managers will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as it relates to company employees and customers.
Acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check
Solid organizational and people skills.

Nice To Haves

Fleet Maintenance and automotive/fleet technical knowledge strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Making outbound calls to set up and schedule service with customers
Customer service
Ability to build customer relationship & trust
Developing a business development strategy focused on financial gain
Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Conduct research to identify customer needs
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Some weekend and after-hours work may be required
25%-35% travel required
