About The Position

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Government Relationship Manager within our Corpay division. This position falls under our Fleet line of business and is a remote, work-from-home position with required travel. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing assigned government contract accounts, ensuring contract compliance, strengthening customer relationships, resolving escalations, supporting sales initiatives, and driving client retention and expansion. You will report directly to the Director of Bids and Contracts (Mark Roberts) and regularly collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Credit, Collections, Fraud, IT, Product, Pricing/Revenue, Reporting (BATS), EV Chargepass, Site Acquisition, and Merchant Services teams. Requirements

  • 4+ years of large client relationship management experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Moderate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong presentation and business review development skills
  • Polished phone and email communication skills
  • Ability to effectively write and communicating product features and contract benefits
  • Ability to collaborating cross-functionally with internal support teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with government or large fleet accounts preferred
  • Fleet industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Managing assigned government contract accounts at a corporate level, including overseeing contract compliance, pricing adherence, mandated reporting, fraud settlements, payment term resolutions, and business reviews
  • Conducting weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly client touchpoints with primary contacts and decision makers to drive retention
  • Scheduling, preparing for, traveling to, and leading in-person and virtual business review meetings
  • Preparing detailed PowerPoint business reviews including spend, gallons, card activity, savings, purchasing profile details, employee listings, and vehicle listings
  • Utilizing moderate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to analyze and present customer data
  • Collaborating with internal departments (Account Management, Customer Service, Credit, Collections, Fraud, IT, Product, Pricing/Revenue, BATS Reporting, EV Chargepass, Merchant Services, Site Acquisition, and Fuel Supply Management) to resolve customer concerns and escalations
  • Providing customer training on Corpay online systems including FleetNetPro, iFleet, Driven, and iConnectdata
  • Identifying opportunities to expand business within assigned government contracts
  • Cross-selling additional Corpay products, reporting solutions, and EV Chargepass programs
  • Coaching sales representatives on cooperative purchasing contracts and state contracts (Omnia Partners, CCPA, Region 19 ESC, State of MS, TN, DE, etc.)
  • Assisting with proper account setups, credit applications, tax exemption documentation, and pricing strategy implementation
  • Monitoring account decrease reports to proactively address potential client losses
  • Monitoring credit limit and delinquency reports to prevent account lock situations
  • Responding to quarterly and annual data usage requests for government budgeting and planning
  • Coordinating fraud investigations and preparing required journal entries for contract-mandated fraud credits
  • Supporting government clients during natural disasters by coordinating fuel supply communication, site availability reporting, and emergency response efforts
  • Assisting with contract extensions, bid responses, RFP submissions, pricing updates, and contract documentation management
  • Marketing Corpay’s capabilities, reporting tools, and EV programs to assigned accounts
  • Traveling to customer sites and attending governmental trade shows as required
  • Managing travel expenses and submitting expense reports in accordance with Corpay policy
  • Assisting customers with accounts receivable reconciliation and unpaid invoice resolution
  • Performing other duties as assigned
