This position works directly with the District Attorney's Communications Officer to assist in the preparation of press releases and provide detailed and up-to-date information on governmental affairs, community relations, proposed legislation affecting public safety, and other issues affecting Bexar County government. Under administrative direction, is responsible for technical and administrative support to the Criminal District Attorney regarding external issues affecting the District Attorney's Office; serves as the Criminal District Attorney's representative at external meetings; researches, develops and monitors legislative issues of interest to the Criminal District Attorney; consults with State Officials and staff on legislative issues; informs general public of the District Attorney's Office initiatives and community services.
