RTX Technology Research Center (RTRC) is seeking a Government Property Administrator to join its Finance team. This role is a well-rounded position providing support and compliance of the Government property process within RTRC. This role requires interaction with various technical and functional areas as well as all levels of leadership within RTRC.

  • Review contract provisions of the Government property requirements and provide guidance to the project and contract manager(s) as required
  • Maintain and build a positive relationship with the cognizant DCMA Property Administrator and Plant Clearance Officer
  • Representation of the company during internal and government audits while assisting management in developing a corrective action plan as required
  • Stay relevant on industry best practices and current developments of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements of Government property across various regulations
  • Manage all 13 outcomes of the FAR 52.245-1
  • Maintain property records and inventory in AssetSmart of Contract Acquired Property (CAP) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
  • Conduct bi-annual audit, self-assessments of property internally as well as subcontractor locations and yearly training and instruction to RTRC
  • Contractual reporting across various government agencies
  • Maintain procedures, standard work, and training material
  • Support Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE)
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Government Property, Accounting, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Self-motivated, work well in a team environment; good communicator (written and oral); ability to manage multiple tasks; perform well under time constraints
  • MBA
