About The Position
Three Square Food Bank is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing food assistance to individuals and families in need across Southern Nevada. Our mission is to provide wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community. Through our partnerships and programs, we distribute millions of meals each year and work tirelessly to address the root causes of hunger in our community. The Government Procurement Specialist reports to the Director of Food Sourcing and Relationships and also collaborates with the Procurement Manager to source food and supplies through the Nevada Department of Agriculture by administering and operating The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). TEFAP foods are central to Three Square’s procurement efforts and vital to our network of agency partners providing a healthy variety of products to neighbors in need.
