Reporting to the Director of Finance (DoF), the Government Grants & Contracts Accountant will be responsible for the management and reporting of a $4.3M portfolio of government awards and $1M in foundation and UJA grants. This position will play a key role in streamlining and handling the overall grants management process for the organization. Experience in managing and improving processes is vital to the role as the individual will work in collaboration with the DoF to develop efficient workflows that facilitate timely follow through and deliverable submission to funders. Key highlights of the role include pre- and post-award management of grant funding, timely invoicing supported by the general ledger, analysis, and timely communication of over/underspending, supporting program staff in properly monitoring contract spending and leading government funder audits.
