Your role in our team You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, modifications, nondisclosure agreements, terms and conditions, and other contract related documents. You will act as end-to-end point of contact throughout the contract management process, escalading to leadership when necessary. You will provide active assistance to the project teams in the management, execution, and resolution of issues related to contract/project management and accounting (e.g. contract type, cost allowability, payment/milestone schedules, inspection/acceptance criteria, other terms). You will serve as subject matter expert on interpretation of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) clauses and contractual provisions. You will maintain comprehensive and reliable contract and subcontract records (e.g. proposals, contracts, correspondence, modifications). You will develop and maintain effective business relationships with customers. You will closely collaborate with project teams and business operations departments. You will support proposal preparation, including examination of solicitation requirements, cost/pricing requirements, and analyzing terms and conditions to adequately assess risks in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. You will review customer requests for engineering changes, technical memoranda, program change direction from US Government customers and identify impacts to contracts; support team (in particular Program change management) in preparing and negotiating responses. You will maintain adequate systems for compliance with government cost accounting standards. You will act as liaisons among the company and government agencies. You will review and negotiate contract terms and conditions for government contracts, including RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement documents. You will travel occasionally: less than 10%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in contract management experience with government contracts & pricing.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of contract types including FFP, T&M, Cost/Cost-Plus.
  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations and the ability to manage complex contracts effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS.
  • Ability to draft and negotiate contractual language.
  • Professional Contract Management Certification (CPCM, CFCM).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic, high-performance team.
  • Effective listening, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word and Microsoft Teams.
  • Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to obtain a USPS Sensitive Security Clearance.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment and deliver results to meet timelines.
