Ice Miller is seeking an intern for the Government Affairs & Regulatory Law (GARL) Group in Indianapolis beginning in late December 2026 through early May 2027. Successful candidates will assist the Firm’s registered state lobbyists and staff of the GARL Group during the 2027 legislative session of the Indiana General Assembly. This is an opportunity for those interested in a career in government affairs and lobbying to develop an understanding of the legislative process and learn from an engaged and experienced group of seasoned lobbyists. Candidates should understand that no job is too small when it comes to the legislative session and policy process. Successful candidates should be a team player and have a great attitude to jump right into the Indiana policy-making process. Candidates may also be asked to work on research or business development projects during the internship for the group, not just tasks related to the legislative session. Successful candidates should have a flexible schedule to attend morning and evening events and work late nights for committee hearings and late-night sessions.
