About The Position
The Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst position is responsible for assisting in the assessment of operations and adequacy of security controls and compliance with federal and state regulations. This includes evaluating whether electronic information systems operated by the Department of Enterprise Technology (DET) are effectively managed and controlled, and ensuring that application and general computer controls are adequate, particularly in the areas of privacy and security. The role involves maintaining policies and procedures related to the effective operation of information systems, reviewing responses to external audit findings, and performing self-assessments for compliance with regulatory standards. The Senior Governance Risk & Compliance Analyst will provide technical guidance and consulting services, report on the management of electronic information systems, recommend improvements to information systems, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
