About The Position

The Government Affairs Director for the Northeast at PepsiCo is responsible for managing key policy and regulatory issues across the region to support the company's growth ambitions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Affairs, Legal, Communications, Economics or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate affairs, government affairs, PR, CSR, or communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage PepsiCo regulatory risk radar to provide visibility on key regulatory risks.
  • Ensure early identification of regulatory business risks and align internal stakeholders to address them.
  • Monitor and research emerging public policy issues relevant to PepsiCo's operations.
  • Provide external insights on key policy and regulatory matters affecting business strategy.
  • Advise on confidential matters including due diligence and stakeholder reputation.
  • Maintain platforms to distribute and manage public policy content.
  • Set up and engage with industry associations and government-private sector consultative processes.
  • Represent PepsiCo in external meetings with governments and industry associations.
  • Influence public policy to support PepsiCo's business objectives and enhance reputation.
  • Drive strategic partnerships to advance PepsiCo's global goals and commitments.
  • Generate annual strategic plans and budgets for the business.
  • Ensure effective crisis mitigation from a PPGA perspective.
  • Develop and strengthen the PPGA division in collaboration with GM's and HR teams.
