Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services. For a client engagement we have need to fill a long-term client-site position for a Program Manager (PM) for a contractor team supporting the Office of Transition and Economic Development (TAP) in the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Transition and Economic Development (TED). This position is primarily telework but the PM may need to travel to the VA HQ in Washington DC at certain occasional times. The PM will provide transition assistance, information, training, counseling, and services to eligible Service members within the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Transition and Economic Development (TED).

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all TAP contract tasks (Tasks 7.1–7.5), ensuring alignment with VA goals and objectives, and maintaining continuity of operations throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for VA leadership, including the government Program Manager, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and Contracting Officer CO.
  • Facilitate quarterly reviews, strategic updates, and ensure timely responses to government requests and modifications.
  • Monitor adherence to the Project Management Plan (PMP), Quality Control Plan (QCP), and all reporting requirements.
  • Ensure deliverables are submitted on schedule and meet performance standards.
  • Implement and maintain a proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategy. Track and resolve issues across operations, curriculum, training, and staffing, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Direct and support project managers across TAP Operations, Curriculum Development, Training, and Data Analytics.
  • Ensure resources are allocated effectively and teams are aligned to meet contract deliverables.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience in managing Transition Assistance Program (TAP) operations or similar.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Must possess and maintain Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent industry recognized PM certification.
  • Shall have a proven track record of engaging with related agencies at a senior level.
