About The Position

Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services. For a client engagement we have need to fill a long-term client-site position for an Operations Project Manager for a team supporting the Office of Transition and Economic Development (TAP) in the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Transition and Economic Development (TED). The project manager will report to the Program Manager. This position is primarily telework but the PM may need to travel to the VA HQ in Washington DC at certain occasional times. The PM will provide transition assistance, information, training, counseling, and services to eligible Service members within the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Transition and Economic Development (TED).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in managing operations defined in this PWS with demonstrated expertise in leading teams and managing projects of national scope in the Federal Government or DOD.
  • Shall also possess and maintain Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent industry recognized PM certification, throughout the duration of the contract.
  • Experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a geographically dispersed workforce and issuing directives and schedules necessary to ensure effective project management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee onsite support activities at 107 permanent and 222 itinerant locations, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of VA Benefits and Services briefings, one-on-one engagements, and Capstone support.
  • Monitor and update the TAP Staffing and Training Roster. Ensure all Benefits Advisors (BAs) are trained, credentialed, and deployed per the Operational Deployment Plan and Attachment F requirements.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of weekly, monthly, and quarterly TAP operations reports, including travel worksheets, deployment plans, and printed materials status reports.
  • Identify and address staffing gaps, site-specific challenges, and logistical issues. Implement mitigation strategies and escalate unresolved concerns to the Program Manager, COR, or PM.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for VA leadership and site personnel. Lead weekly TAP Operations Briefs and ensure clear, consistent communication across all operational teams.
