About The Position
As a Gourmet Food Server at Gymkhana, you will play a crucial role in delivering an extraordinary dining experience that reflects the vibrant essence of Indian cuisine. Your primary responsibility will be to take and deliver customer orders with precision and flair, ensuring that every dish—whether it's a tandoor-grilled specialty, a fragrant biryani, or a classic regional curry—arrives at the table perfectly presented and infused with the bold flavors that Gymkhana is renowned for. In this dynamic role, you'll maintain tables and enhance guest satisfaction by engaging with diners, weaving stories about the rich heritage and layered spicing of our dishes. Finalizing checks and performing side work will be part of your daily routine, as you keep your assigned stations immaculate, embodying the polished yet lively atmosphere that defines our restaurant.
Requirements
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
- Previous Food and Beverage experience in a high-paced environment preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities
- Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
- Guide guest through all phases of their experience at the restaurant
- Knowledgeable of selling techniques, service delivery of both non and alcoholic beverages, and service delivery of menu items of every course
- Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
- Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned area, side station, tables and Point of Sale (POS) station
- Anticipate the guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
- Communicate with management, chef and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or employees
